Disclaimer: due to the complexity of adding and managing Topics, it is advised to coordinate managing lessons with the HWapps Account Service Team. Topics are not frequently used by the OneCity Health Workforce Team on the LMS.
Topics are sub-units of Lessons. A course shell may have multiple lessons, and each of those lessons could have multiple topics. The content embedded in Topics could range from multimedia (videos, modules,) to word documents, supplemental resources, or simply text information/images.
To add a topic, visit the OCH Admin backend dashboard by hovering over the “Home” icon and selecting “Dashboard.” Once on the backend, hover over “Trainings” and select “Topics.”
Once you are in the topics section, you can add or edit topic by clicking “Add New,” or by hovering over an existing topic and selecting “Edit.” When creating a new topic, you will see various media options, which are the same options you will see when creating a lesson. Follow the steps below for uploading specific media options.
Step 1) Enter a title for the lesson
Step 2) Select Zip Content Import Here
Step 3) Set the width to 100 and the height to 800 (you can change according to how large the module is)
