Comprehensive Skills Training for Community Health Workers

The training is designed to help CHWs develop the core skills they need to conduct the tasks and fulfill the roles that have come to describe their practice and place their work within the context of client empowerment and individual/community development. Training modules include communication, behavior change, adult learning, CHW history, identity and scope of practice, including integration within health and social service delivery systems.
