About Us

Solidarity Statement

We stand in solidarity with those who fight against hatred, senseless violence, stigma, and racism. We grieve with our communities who have lost parents, children, friends, lovers, neighbors, and colleagues to acts of murder. We acknowledge our nation’s history of white supremacy and know that we need to do more to dismantle structural systems of oppression and inequality.

We are working, along with our partners, to reflect on our actions, address inequities, and educate ourselves on how to better serve all of the people who live, work, learn, and play in our community. It is essential that we continue conversations around racism and hate, how we perpetuate systems of inequity, and consider the steps we need to take to make change.

At Staten Island Performing Provider System, we collaborate with and fund organizations that are Black-led, LGBTQIA+ led, allies of people with disabilities, and more. We will continue to do more.

Staten Island Performing Provider System is located on what was once Munsee Lenape Land. You can learn more here.
