Argela Xhaferri holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the City University of New York – College of Staten Island. With over three years of experience in behavioral health and harm reduction, she served as a Recovery Counselor and SUD Case Manager at Community Health Action of Staten Island. In that role, she provided clinical assessments, crisis intervention, and individualized treatment planning for individuals navigating substance use and mental health challenges. Argela led harm reduction initiatives and worked closely with the District Attorney’s office to advocate for her clients in court, ensuring their treatment progress was recognized and their recovery supported within the justice system. Xhaferri is passionate about advancing health equity and helping individuals access the tools and support they need to thrive.
