A native Staten Islander, Lorri is excited and proud to be consulting with SI PPS working with the staff of the Social Care Network.
Previously Executive Director of Eger Health Care and Rehabilitation Center and currently VP of Governmental Affairs and Public Affairs for ARCHCARE, Lorri has worked most recently to bring to the forefront the needs of the Seniors both in Long Term and Short-Term Nursing Home care to the attention of the elected officials and to work on increasing Medicaid reimbursement for the care and services these residents deserve.
Lorri is Vice President of Richmond County Kiwanis and works closely with her fellow Kiwanians to conduct service projects through fundraising and grants. The Kiwanis Children’s Fund is held close to Lorri’s heart in an effort to change children’s lives in their own local communities and through international initiatives. These initiatives help young people develop mentally, physically and emotionally.
Lorri is an active member of New York State Women and SI Soroptimists – a global volunteer organization that provides women and girls with access to the education and training they need to achieve economic empowerment.
Lorri has been a past recipient of the Community Agency for Senior Citizens Award for her community service and volunteerism and most recently the recipient of an award through Out of the Storm Senior Housing. Lorri is Past President of NYC West for the New York State Health Facilities Association.
Lorri is married to Norman Senk and is a proud mother and grandmother.
