Asthma Self-Management Education can also be a standalone referral.
Asthma remediation services will include the following components:
- Health education tailored to the needs of the member and their family/caregivers to enhance asthma knowledge, including recognizing early warning signs, managing worsening symptoms, maintaining asthma control, and ensuring medication adherence.
- Identification and reduction of asthma triggers
- Potential referrals to existing Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Services.
